Prenuptial Agreements
Prenuptial Agreements are often called premarital agreements or antenuptial agreements. Two parties who are intending to be married, prior to the actual ceremony, enter into these types of agreements. Prenuptial Agreements set forth the rights of either party with respect to any assets or property owned prior to the marriage and how the parties wish to predetermine the distribution of assets or property acquired during the marriage in the event of one spouse's death or the divorce of the parties.
